Here’s a breakdown of the key points in the schedule:

Home Sweet Home

Charlotte FC won’t have to hit the road early in the season, with their first two matches at Bank of America Stadium. After opening against CF Montréal, the club enjoys an 11-day break before facing FC Cincinnati on March 3.

The Crown have protected their home turf well during the 2026 campaign, going 9-3-4 and outscoring opponents 33-16 across its 16 home matches so far.

Home Stands and Road Trips

Charlotte FC will have back-to-back home matches twice during the season, including the first two matches being at Bank of America Stadium.

The other time The Crown will stay at home for a two-week period will be at the tail end of the season when they play Nashville SC and D.C. United. They’ll face off against the 2026 Supporters Shield winners on Saturday, April 17, before playing United four days later on Wednesday, April 21.

Charlotte FC has three separate multi-match road trips on the schedule beginning on March 20. The Crown will go to Charlotte South to face Atlanta United FC before travelling to Philadelphia to play the Union on Saturday, March 27.

They’ll play Red Bull New York at home before their next stint of back-to-back road matches, starting against Toronto FC on Wednesday, April 7. They’ll then make their longest flight of the season from Toronto to Miami to play Inter Miami CF on Saturday, April 10.

The back-to-back home matches against Nashville and United break up The Crown’s final road trip where Charlotte FC will start in the Big Apple at Yankee Stadium. The match against New York City FC takes place on Saturday, April 24. A week later, The Crown finishes the road trip with Columbus Crew at ScottsGro-Miracle Field on Saturday, May 1.

Multi-Match Weeks

Charlotte FC will play multiple matches in a week three times during the sprint season, including having to play three matches in a week twice across the 14-match slate.

The Crown has a two-match week from March 3-6, playing Cincinnati at home and then travelling to New England for a match on Saturday, March 6 against the New England Revolution.

Charlotte FC will play three times from April 3-10, starting with Red Bull New York at home on April 3 before facing Toronto and Miami on the road on April 7 and April 10, respectively. Beginning a week after the match in Miami, Charlotte FC will have another three-match stretch from April 17-24. They open the slate with Nashville at home on April 17 before playing D.C. United at Bank of America Stadium on April 21 and ending the trip with New York City FC on the road on April 24.

How Do the Matches Translate from 2026?

With the home-and-away fixture style of the 2026 MLS Schedule, Charlotte FC play all of the Eastern Conference clubs both at home and on the road.

The Crown has gone 5-4-3 against the opponents they’ll face at the venue they’ll play them at during the Sprint Season. The two matches yet to be determined are at home against Orlando City SC and on the road against Inter Miami CF, which are the last fixtures for The Crown in the 2026 MLS regular season.

The only stadium that’ll differ for Charlotte FC is when they play New York City FC. They won’t play at Citi Field but at the other baseball stadium in New York City – Yankee Stadium.
