CLTFC could acquire an additional $375,000 GAM if performance-based incentives are met
CHARLOTTE, NC (Thursday, August 4, 2022) – Charlotte FC today announced the Club has traded Christian Makoun to the New England Revolution in exchange for $400,000 in General Allocation Money (GAM) and up to $375,000 GAM in performance-based incentives.
The deal includes $143,327 GAM in 2022 and $256,673 GAM in 2023. Additionally, Inter Miami will maintain 15% of total gross future sales from a previous trade.
CLTFC acquired Makoun from Inter Miami CF in exchange for the No. 1 Allocation Ranking spot earlier this year. The Venezuelan played in 13 MLS matches for CLTFC, totaling 852 minutes.
The Club would like to thank Christian for his time in Charlotte and wishes him the best in New England.
