CHARLOTTE, NC (Wednesday, February 2, 2022) – Charlotte FC today announced Will Palaszczuk and Jessica Charman as the English-language radio announcers for all CLTFC matches on the Club’s flagship station WFNZ.
Palaszczuk will handle play-by-play duties while Charman will provide color commentary.
“We’re thrilled to have Will and Jessica become the inaugural broadcast talent for Charlotte FC radio on our flagship station,” said Nick Kelly, CEO of Tepper Sports and Entertainment. “Will has proven to be an excellent addition to the soccer community here in Charlotte while Jessica brings a wealth of knowledge and exciting energy to her broadcasts. We couldn’t be happier with our first groundbreaking radio team and are excited for fans tune into WFNZ all season long.”
Palaszczuk joins the Charlotte FC radio booth after contributing to coverage of Atlanta United for 92.9 The Game. He is in his second year with Charlotte FC's flagship station, Sports Radio WFNZ, where he works as a field reporter and host in addition to his soccer duties. Palaszczuk's on-air credits include stints at South Carolina Radio Network, Yahoo! Sports/SB Nation Radio, and ESPN Radio in Columbia, MO.
He has served on the play-by-play broadcasts of Missouri Tigers Women's Basketball & Softball along with seasons spent with the Kinston Indians and Savannah Sand Gnats in Minor League Baseball.

Jessica Charman began as the Voice of Clayton State's soccer team in 2014 and continued until her graduation from the university.
Charman, from Harefield, England, was the goalkeeper for Clayton State and was the university's first-ever recipient of the Peach Belt Conference Scholar Athlete of the Year.
She was also a 2018 nominee for NCAA Woman of the Year. Since then, Charman has broadcast collegiate soccer across all three NCAA divisions, the NAIA, and professional soccer for Atlanta United 2 and the UPSL Championships.
Most recently in 2021, she was the voice of Mercer Soccer during their run in the So-Con Championship, voiced the CAC Women's Championship and the Peach Belt Conference Finals.
