Charlotte FC and the Carolina Panthers are inviting all fans and families to their Tree Lighting Festival, presented by Atrium Health on Tuesday, Nov. 30. The free, ticketed event returns this year with a new street festival format featuring activities for the entire family. Free tickets are required to attend and are available here.

The festival, which takes place just outside Bank of America Stadium at the corner of Mint Street and Graham Street, begins at 5 p.m. and runs until 8 p.m. The festival features appearances by Charlotte FC players as well as Sir Purr, the TopCats Cheerleaders, the PurrCussion Drumline and the Black & Blue Crew in a procession that will precede the lighting of the tree at 7 p.m. Other family-friendly activities include a photo booth, caricature artists, balloon artists, a chance to meet Santa Claus, and a family-friendly movie shown on a big screen.

Bottled water and hot cocoa will be available free of charge with additional food and drinks available for purchase from various local food trucks onsite.

The NFL Clear Bag Policy will be in place at the tree lighting festival. Transparent, plastic, vinyl or PVC bags smaller than 12″ x 6″ x 12″ will be allowed after inspection.

No alcohol is permitted at the festival. The event will be held rain or shine and parking will be available from various independent parking companies in the Uptown area.Â
