We’re back – again.
With Charlotte FC’s 4-0 win against CF Montréal on Wednesday, The Crown have clinched a playoff spot for the fourth consecutive season.
Charlotte FC's playoff spot was finalized as the final whistle blew at Bank of America Stadium.
Charlotte FC clinching a playoff spot means that Head Coach Dean Smith has made the playoffs with The Crown every year that he has led the team.
Charlotte FC is currently in fifth place in the Eastern Conference with 50 points, sitting two points behind fourth-place Chicago Fire FC, a playoff spot that comes with home-field advantage in the first round. If Charlotte FC can finish in third place or higher in the Eastern Conference, it would be their highest regular season finish in Club history. The Crown can also finish with a maximum of 56 points, which would be the second-best total in Club history.
With the postseason now guaranteed, all eyes are on The Crown as they aim for their best regular season finish yet and a potential deep run in the Audi 2026 MLS Cup Playoffs.
Stay tuned for ticket on-sale details as early as Monday, November 2.
