Inaugural roster members Sergio Ruiz and Brandt Bronico share their thoughts on the transformations in store for Charlotte FCās home stadium
CHARLOTTEāConstruction has begun onĀ renovations at Bank of America StadiumĀ to provide a ābest-in-classā experience for Charlotte FC players and fans. The project, which will cost around $50 million, includes significant enhancements to the Loweās East Gate, an upgraded main concourse and supportersā bar just inside the gate, soccer-specific locker rooms, a central player tunnel, and a new premium club space and field-level seating.

āI think it looks beautiful,ā said Charlotte FCās first-ever signing Sergio Ruiz. āI think it will be a unique and special stadium. Iām looking forward to seeing my shirt hanging in those locker rooms!Ā

āWhen I first saw the blueprint of the renovations for the 2022 MLS season, I was blown away,ā said Charlotte FC midfielder Brandt Bronico, upon seeing the renderings.Ā
āThe club preaches a culture of excellence and I think this is a major step in the right direction. There are standards set by expansion sides in this leagueāand I think Charlotte has set a new standard and surpassed any sort of expectation. The renovations look flawless and I canāt wait to be a part of it come 2022.ā
