This will mark their second postseason appearance in just their third season in MLS. The Crown finished 5th place in the Eastern Conference and will take on Orlando City SC in a Best-of-Three series.

  • Match 1 on Sunday, October 27, at 7:30 p.m. at Inter&Co Stadium
  • Match 2 on Friday, November 1, at 7:30 p.m. at Bank of America Stadium
  • Match 3 will take place back in Orlando on Saturday, November 9, at 6:00 p.m.

ROUND OVERVIEW

There are four rounds, ending with the MLS Cup presented by Audi on December 7 at a to-be-determined stadium.

  • Wild Card: October 22
  • Round One Best-of-3 Series: October 26 - November 10
  • Conference Semifinals: November 23 - 24
  • Conference Finals: November 30 - December 1
  • MLS Cup presented by Audi: December 7

Round One Best-of-3 Series (16-24 games)

  • Every Round One game will have a winner; no ties, no aggregate score.
  • The matches will be hosted in a home-away-home format:
    • Match 1: higher seed hosts
    • Match 2: lower seed hosts
    • Match 3: higher seed hosts
  • If a match is tied at the end of regulation, no extra time will be played. Teams will participate in kicks from the penalty spot to determine the winner.
  • The first team to win two matches will advance.
