AUDI 2025 MLS CUP PLAYOFFS

This will mark Charlotte FC's third straight postseason appearance in their fourth season in MLS.

The Crown clinched a spot in the post-season with a win over Miami on September 13, and secured a home playoff match three weeks later on October 4 with a win over D.C. United. On Decision Day, The Crown defeated Philadelphia Union to claim fourth place in the Eastern Conference, and will have home field advantage in the Round One Best-of-3 Series against New York City FC.

ROUND OVERVIEW

Four rounds follow the Wild Card Matches, ending with MLS Cup presented by Audi on December 6.

• Wild Card Matches: October 22
• Round One Best-of-3 Series: October 24 - November 9
• Conference Semifinals: November 22 - November 23
• Conference Finals: November 29 - November 30
• MLS Cup presented by Audi: Saturday, December 6

ROUND ONE BEST-OF-3 SERIES

• Every Round One game will have a winner; no ties, no aggregate score.
• The matches will be hosted in a home-away-home format:
  • Match 1: higher seed hosts
  • Match 2: lower seed hosts
  • Match 3: higher seed hosts
• If a match is tied at the end of regulation, no extra time will be played. Teams will participate in kicks from the penalty spot to determine the winner.
• The first team to win two matches will advance.
