Barnes played eight seasons in the MLS with the New England Revolution after a stellar collegiate career at Duke University. His 9th year as a pro came with the New York Cosmos in the NASL. Following his retirement from professional soccer, Barnes joined the MLS league office in the partnership marketing department where he worked for over three years before joining Charlotte FC.
The 38-year-old Irish native joins Crown Legacy FC from Brighton & Hove Albion where he most recently served as an assistant for the U-21 side in the Premier League 2. On November 14, 2024 it was announced that Dicker was appointed the Club's next head coach.
Sawchak, a native of Atlanta, Georgia, joined Crown Legacy FC as an Assistant Coach in February 2023, ahead of the Club's inaugural season. Prior to coming to the Queen City, he spent time as an assistant coach with USL League One sides Northern Colorado Hailstorm and Chattanooga Red Wolves. Sawchak served as CLFC's interim head coach for the majority of the 2024 season, earning the Club's first ever playoff win. On November 14, it was announced that Sawchak would return to his role as assistant coach under Gary Dicker.
Edwards has been with Charlotte FC’s Academy goalkeeper program since 2020. Prior to CLTFC, Edwards served as Assistant Men’s Coach at UNCC, Assistant Soccer Coach at Hofstra University, and a role as Coaching Director with the Carolina Rapids.
