Crown Legacy FC Earned First Win in Club History

Matthews, NC (Saturday, April 1, 2023)- Crown Legacy FC won its first match in club history yesterday, beating FC Cincinnati 2 2-1 at home.

Forward Brandon Cambridge and midfielder David Poreba led the way for CLFC with Poreba setting up Cambridge for both goals. Cambridge currently leads MLS NEXT Pro in goals with three after two matches. 

Midfielder Nikola Petkovic made his Crown Legacy FC debut after returning from international duty while defenders Joao Pedro and Joao Guilherme stepped onto the pitch for CLFC for the first time as well. Additionally, midfielder Jacob Williams made his professional debut in yesterday's win.
