Sarkos joins the Club as its first domestic signing ahead of the 2024 season
CHARLOTTE, NC (Tuesday, December 19, 2023) – Crown Legacy FC today announced the signing of UCLA forward Jack Sarkos.
Sarkos joins the Club after an impressive season at UCLA, contributing nine goals and two assists in 15 matches.
“Jack is a dynamic striker who has an eye for the back of the net,” said Technical Director Bobby Belair. “His success at the collegiate level has made him a highly touted prospect that we believe can develop rapidly in our system. After being courted by several MLS NEXT Pro clubs, we are thrilled to announce the signing of Jack and assist him with the next step of his career.”
Prior to joining UCLA, Sarkos, 23, was a standout at Lehigh University, earning First Team All-Patriot League honors twice and was named to the United Soccer Coaches All-Region Second team. The forward netted 17 goals in four seasons with the Mountain Hawks, 16 of which came in his final two seasons when he was the university's top scorer.
Primarily a center forward, Sarkos will look to bolster an already lethal CLFC attack that netted a conference-leading 60 goals in 2023.
