CLFC will face UPSL Mid-Atlantic Conference runners-up in its first-ever match in the 109-year-old tournament
CHARLOTTE, NC (Wednesday, March 6, 2024) – Crown Legacy FC is set to host South Carolina United Heat at Mecklenburg County Sportsplex on Thursday, March 21, at 7:30 p.m. ET for the First Round of the Lamar Hunt U.S. Open Cup.

All standard Crown Legacy FC matchday procedures will continue for the Open Cup match, including parking, gate procedures and Legacy Lawn.
CLFC’s opponent, South Carolina United Heat, qualified for the U.S. Open Cup by finishing second in the UPSL Mid-Atlantic division, only behind the Charlotte FC Academy UPSL side who beat the Columbia, SC-based club in penalties in the Mid-Atlantic division championship.
