Full Time: Crown Legacy FC 1 – 4 Orlando City B

CLFC ORL 2

Crown Legacy FC suffers a tough loss to Orlando City B at home.

What you missed: Crown Legacy came up short in a disappointing defeat against Orlando City B after previously beating them earlier in the season. Orlando City came out strong, opening the score in the 18th minute, throwing Crown Legacy off-guard. CLFC held their own for the remainder of the half, but their efforts were not enough to keep Orlando at bay. Orlando put another into the back of net in stoppage time to finish the second half with a 2-0 lead over the hosts.

Orlando managed to nab a third goal just six minutes into the second half. Fresh legs in the 57th minute gave Legacy a few signs of hope, as Jonathan Nyandjo and Nikola Petkovic worked off each other in the attacking half. Petkovic’s strike bounced off the post where Nyandjo was able to capitalize off the rebound, finally putting them on the scoresheet. The Club’s second half attacking efforts were not enough to find a breakthrough as they ended up falling short to Orlando 4-1, ending their two-match winning run.

Key Takeaways:

  • Jonathan Nyandjo scores his third goal of the season for Crown Legacy FC.
  • Jamie Paterson makes his first appearance with the organization, playing 45 minutes.
