Fort Lauderdale, FL (Saturday, August 19, 2023) - Crown Legacy FC defeats Inter Miami CF II 2-1 on the road to extend its lead atop of the Eastern Conference.
CLFC jumped out to an early lead, netting two goals in the first half by Iuri Tavares and Chris Hegardt. Defenders Nick Scardina and Jack Neeley each earned assists respectively. Miami was able to pull one back in the later stages of the match to keep the match close but wasn't able to find an equalizer. Additionally, the Club's newest signings Chituru Odunze and Kimarni Smith made their first starts.
