MATCH PREVIEW: Crown Legacy FC at Chattanooga FC

CHARLOTTE, N.C. (Saturday, July 26, 2025) - Crown Legacy FC is back on the road to take on Chattanooga FC tonight, July 26 at Finley Stadium. Kickoff is slated for 7:00 p.m. ET and the match can be streamed on MLS Season Pass.

Scouting Report
Chattanooga FC enters the match sitting in third place in the Eastern Conference standings with an 8W-4L-6D record (33 points) and a +3 goal differential. This is the second matchup between the two sides this season, the first ending in a 2-1 victory for Chattanooga at Finley Stadium on April 19. In the match, Academy midfielder Magic Smalls netted his first career goal. Chattanooga is coming off a 2-2 draw against Inter Miami CF II, winning the penalty shootout 5:4. CFC keeper Eldin Jakupovic is tied for the lead in MLS NEXT Pro in saves with 74 and just recently competed in Goalie Wars at the MLS All-Star Skills Challenge.

Last Time Out
In its most recent outing, CLFC had its five-match unbeaten streak snapped by Philadelphia Union II on July 19 at Mecklenburg County Sportsplex. Union II jumped ahead in the second minute with Eddy Davis finishing a one-on-one opportunity in the box after receiving a through ball. Later in stoppage time, CLFC's Assane Ouedraogo attempted to clear a set piece but his header took an unfortunate direction which led the ball into the back of his own net. Philadelphia scored two more in the second half, with Nick Pariano and Malik Jakupovic each finishing long range chances.
