Serbian joins after a successful preseason trial with CLFC
Charlotte, NC (Wednesday, March 8, 2023)- Crown Legacy FC today announced the Club has signed forward Marko Filipovic.
Filipovic joined Crown Legacy FC, who last played Hungarian team Szentlőrinc Sportegyesület, originally joined as a trialist for preseason preparations.
“Marko is versatile attacker who can make an impact across multiple parts of the pitch,” said Technical Director Bobby Belair. “Marko is another example of us leveraging our connections in foreign markets which we’ll continue to do with Crown Legacy FC when we find young, promising talent. We’re thrilled to welcome Marko to Charlotte and help him progress as a playmaker in this next stage of his development.”
Filipovic scored one goal in 11 appearances with Szentlőrinc SE.
Prior to joining Crown Legacy FC, Filipovic played for multiple clubs in the Hungarian and Serbian professional ranks, featuring with Graficar Beograd, Ujpest, Bicskei and Vasas SC.
